The Greater Toledo Choice Awards are presented to those who set a new standard of excellence in the Greater Toledo area home building industry. The awards include categories for marketing, new construction, remodeling and our Grand Awards which include remodeler, associate and builder of the year. All HBA Members are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to promote your business as Toledo’s Choice.

Tips and frequently asked questions to assist you along the way
DEADLINE: All entries must be submitted online no later than 5 p.m. on October 28, 2019. After this time, entries are subject to a $25 late fee per entry.
COST: The entry fee for all categories 1 to 20 is $70. Companies will be invoiced by the HBA for submitted entries. No refunds will be given.
ELIGIBILITY: All entrants must be a member in good standing of the Home Builders Association of Greater Toledo. Entries must have been completed or updated within the last year (between 10/1/18 and 9/30/19). Best New Showroom/Design Center must have been completed or updated within the last 2 years.
JUDGING: All entries are compiled and sent to judges outside of the Greater Toledo market. Should the situation occur where there is only one entry in a category, 70% of the points available for that category would qualify as a winning entry without competition. The HBA reserves the right to eliminate any category due to insufficient entries or where the quality of work does not warrant a winner. The HBA also reserves the right to combine or expand categories based on number of entries received. There are no ties in a category. A definitive winner will be picked by the judges.
ENTERING: After reviewing the Entry Criteria, find your desired category below and follow the link to the ENTRY FORM. Here you will upload your statements, photos, etc. We recommend writing your statements and gathering your materials first so they are ready to upload. This is the only way to upload your entry materials, emails will not be accepted. Complete a form for each individual category you are entering.
