Build My Future NW Ohio is a one-day construction career event for high school students in Northwest Ohio and the surrounding areas. Interactive learning labs from businesses in the skilled trades & building industry will provide the students with hands-on opportunities to experience what their future career could look like. Schools will send students for the day (approximately 5 hours) for activities provided by industry partners. Student activities include hands-on Learning Labs, equipment operation & educational displays.​

Like many, the trades industry is hurting for hard working individuals to keep up with demand. After a lot of brainstorming & research, the HBA is thrilled to announce our newest endeavor - Build My Future. Teaming up with industry experts and local schools, we're making a change to keep our industry growing for years to come.

We Need YOU!
Day of Volunteers, Committee Members, Exhibitors, Sponsors, Donations - we NEED it all! While many of the exhibitors will be trades-related and supplier members, the future of our industry is important to all of us. Our Associate Members are going to play a vital role in the success of this event. We will need several volunteers, sponsors and donations due to the large nature of Build My Future!
