When you join the HBA, you become a member of the local, state (OHBA) and national association (NAHB). All three of these associations provide you with a voice for the industry. There are also a number of additional perks and benefits available for HBA member companies.

Networking

Build relationships with fellow industry professionals at our meetings and events. Member hosted Happy Hours take place throughout the year and are a great way to meet members in a casual environment.

Access to Expert Advisors - NAHB staff is available to provide free advice on legal, regulatory, economic, and financial issues.
Publications and Resources - Members receive publications/newsletters from all three associations as well as special access to NAHB’s website.
Contracts, Warranty & Notary Service - Templates for a Standard Building Contract or Warranty are available to members upon request. The HBA also provides free notary service to its members.
Professional Recognition - If you build homes or supply builders, how can you not be a member of the HBA? Membership enhances your company’s professional recognition and signifies credibility to the buying public.

Advocacy

Our Government Affairs program keeps up on current issues affecting all members. It aims to advocate for the industry position on issues and stay involved in a proactive way. Lobbyists at the local, state and national levels are working every day to promote your business interests on industry-related issues.
